We do not make a distinction between males and females in terms of price, guarantee, or restrictions. Nor do we make a distinction between show/pet quality. All our puppies are placed in family homes, since we believe that proper placement is most important.

Since we are very selective about our breeding program, we offer general timelines for upcomng litters. Please contact us anytime for more specifc information.

Planning for puppies to arrive in

  • December, 2011
  • and/or February 2012
  • and/or August, 2012

We place a non-breeding agreement on all our puppies. If, at 18-24 months, the puppy has been checked (hips and eyes) and the owner wishes to use the dog for breeding, we will lift the non-breeding agreement at no charge other than the C.K.C. fee. If you are living in the USA and wish to show the dog we will arrange a less restrictive written agreement.

If your Elkhound develops a debilitating, genetic disorder within the first two years of its life, contact us and we will make reimbursement/replacement arrangements suitable to both parties. We will not engage in cost-sharing of long term, painful surgical procedures. Nor will we refund your money and allow you to keep the dog. Please be aware that, no matter how careful we are, NO ONE CAN GUARANTEE that a puppy of any breed will NEVER have genetic disorder(s).
